"every possible shape" isn't really accurate as there are constraints on those shapes in so far as they must create valid universes. Just as you can't stack a finite collection of blocks in an infinite number of ways, it may be that the number of possible configurations of spacetime that support the existence of matter, let alone life that cares about the state of that matter, may be dramatically smaller than the simple cardinality of the apparent parameters suggests.
